Minions Assemble! (Despicable Me Nails)

So, as my fiance and I were picking out nightly movie we came across Despicable Me and I thought about how the minions were some of the cutest things ever! So I decided I would do some Despicable Me Minions for my nails (:

They're easy to do, not a whole lot of skill needed, just steady hands! (:

I started out with 2 coats of Sinful Colors "Pull Over" then a single coat of Pure Ice "Excuse Me" to give it a little bit shimmer in the yellow.

Then do some blue tips, they represent their cute little overalls (:
I used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear "Blue Me Away"
As I showed in my "owl" nail tutorial you can use stickers to help keep your lines straight for the tips. I did mine with out them... I'm pretty proud of how straight the lines turned out (I've been practicing)

Then take a clothes pin and dip it in white nail polish, I used Sinful Colors "Snow Me White." Then decide if you want each finger minion to have two eyes, or one eye.
After you've made the white of the eyes, let it completely dry then add a black dot to create the pupil. You don't even have to center them. You can place them differently so they're looking around, or at each other (:

After that trace them in grey for the goggles, I used Revlon "Timeless"

All that's left to do is draw lines with black to complete the goggles, and add some smiles! (: I decided that some should be showing teeth as if laughing other than just straight line smiles. I think they turned out pretty cute! (:

Your "average" leopard print.

So this is your run of the mill leopard print, but I get SOO many compliments on mine I thought I would go into more detail on how exactly I do mine. (:

You will need a tooth pick and a piece of paper or a Tupperware lid (:

I used Revlon "Gold Coin" for my base. Super nice polish! It's shimmery and only takes 2 coats. Then I used NYC "Black Lace Creme" but honestly any black is going to work for the spots. You're going to need something to put a glob of polish on. I use a plastic tupperware lid, you can use a piece of paper but I like that I can wipe my lid clean and reuse it (:
So put a big glob of black polish on your lid and take your tooth pick and dip it in the black, make sure there is enough on there to actually transfer to your nail. I make a small "C" then put a small line between where both parts of the "C" end without them touching. The whole thing is to make each spot slightly different from the rest of the other spots and I like to fully connect some of the "C" so they're miss shaped "O's" But honestly the best advice is to look at some leopard print and copy it! The tooth pick makes it super easy to do (:
Also! After you read this and try it leave me pictures in the comments! I want to see how yours turn out!

Like I've said in pervious posts I am planning on making a video, the problem is figuring out how I'm going to do that! Lol but I am working on a solution! So hang in there! I also have some more "experienced" nail art things to try out and I'll be making videos of those as well! (:
Leave me some love in the comments!!! (:

Until next time! Love you guys!
